Join Us for Sunday School, Bible Study, and Youth Groups

The Children and Youth will lead the Worship Service on December 18, 2011 at 10:30am

"But as for you, continue in what you have learned and firmly believed, knowing from whom you have learned it, and how from childhood you have known the sacred writings that are able to instruct you for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:14-16

First United Presbyterian Church is an extended church family. We worship and study together. We help each other grow in our knowledge of God, ourselves, and what God requires of us.

We are also a covenant community of baptized believers who have promised to help each other grow in faith and to nurture our children in the faith. Our goal is to imitate Jesus' life and continue His ministry.

Worshipping and studying together is the foundation of our Christian education program. In our Sunday school classes we study the scriptures Pastor Steve preaches later that morning. This is how we have taken Paul's advice to Timothy to heart: We use a scripture-based curriculum that allows us to make the Bible our textbook and the starting point for our spiritual formation.

We have classes for all ages. We have gifted and dedicated teachers. Pastor Steve teaches Bible studies over lunch following worship. We are having fun as we grow together. We are having fun learning how to be Jesus' disciples. It's fun, and it's faithful. But it won't be the same without you. Join us!
