CHURCH USE POLICY
Reservations and Payment
All persons and groups wishing to use the facilities must make a reservation through the church office. Fees are payable to The Presbyterian Church and are payable 10 (ten) business days prior to the event to guarantee reservation.
Activities that function as ministries of The Presbyterian Church or the Presbyterian Church (USA), or other groups designated by the Session of the church are exempt from rental fees.
Group Responsibilities
Each group using the facilities of The Presbyterian Church is responsible for maintaining proper church decorum. All groups will provide for their own basic cleaning, leaving rooms in the condition they were found, placing trash in proper receptacles and turning off the lights.
Special Restrictions
Alcohol, drugs, weapons, or fireworks are NOT allowed in the building.
NO TOBACCO PRODUCTS.
The Kitchen
Groups utilizing the kitchen are required to thoroughly clean all appliances, countertops, and floors immediately following their event. All utensils, pots, dishes, and silverware used are to be washed and stored. Sinks are to be cleaned and all trash is to be deposited in the dumpster in the parking lot. Please ask for assistance when using the dishwasher.
Sanctuary:
No tacks, pins, glue, or tape may be used when decorating the building. Nothing is to be attached to the pews except with a rubber band or ribbon.
Fellowship Hall:
Please ask for assistance when using the lights. No tape. Tacks may be used on the bulletin board material on the walls.
Fees are as follow:
MEMBERS
1. No fee for use of sanctuary or fellowship hall.
2. A donation is suggested.
3. Any church supplies used; need to be replaced.
MEMBERS OF AREA PRESBYTERIAN CHURCHES
1. No fee for use of sanctuary or fellowship hall.
2. A donation is suggested.
NON-MEMBERS
1. $150.00 for use of sanctuary
$150.00 for use of fellowship hall
2. Custodial Services will be payable at the rate of $20.00 per hour. The custodian will notify party of hours rendered. Minimum custodial fee is $20.00.
3. Any church supplies used; need to be replaced.
4. In case of financial hardship the fee may be waived.
MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS:
·Please take all food and drinks home with you following meals, receptions, gatherings, etc.
No tables or chairs will be loaned out to anyone. All other church property is loan able and must be checked out and in through the church office.
Boy and Girl Scout meetings are permissible in our church for no fee. We do ask that you clean up after your meetings. We also ask that you remain in your meeting area.
BUILDING USE IS ALWAYS SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO UNSCHEDULED CHURCH EVENTS.
